KAWE has had various projects one of them being the Electronic Medical Records System (EMR). The system ensures that the patients medical data is well stored and safe for future reviews. It also ensures maximized follow up on the patients recovery and response to various types of drugs administered by our medical practitioners. We also conduct Epilepsy trainings and awareness at various sub counties in Kenya where we join forces with the county governments to ensure that we reach a maximum number of audience to reduce the epilepsy knowledge gap. On targeting different groups in the community, we have reached about 60,000 people with epilepsy in Kenya. We continue to train health workers through Continuous Medical Education (CMEs), we also sensitize the Community Health Workers (CHWs) through our weekly trainings and monthly seminars.
